The Heaghney's come to visit!

We are so lucky that Great Grandma Heaghney, Great Aunt Kathy and Great Aunt Joan were able to make it down for Justin's Baptism. Great Grandma really enjoyed meeting Justin.

Warmer Weather

The warmer weather allowed us to walk and get Nathan a haircut, which led to playing in the park which led to running around the fountain, which led to running through the fountain!
Just a little wet, mom!
Justin went for his 2 month check. He weighed 12lbs 12oz and is 24 inches long. He got 3 shots and one oral vaccine...what a trooper
Justin is 2 months old today. He is getting so big!
Nathan had to be in a picture with Justin...he still loves him :)

2 Months Old

Can you believe Justin is already 8 weeks old. He is going to the MD this coming Tuesday to see how he is growing. According to the Wii he weighs 13 lbs...oh my. The Wii is quite funny for baby's. This week they asked him if he cries in the night and told him he might want to keep it down as not to disturb the neighbors. Someone must have been getting their kicks when programming for the babies. He is a bundle of joy, with a lot of smiles and he is starting to talk to us a little. He did go between feedings long enough to give me 6 hours of straight sleep. I feel like a new mommy.
Mommy's ploy at trying to get me a job with Mosaic so I can go to work with her :)
Nathan had fun playing with his friend Eva. It was a well needed play date, since it has been so cold down here. They ran and ran and ran throughout the house and Justin was along for the ride!Justin and his friend Rebecca, who is about 5 weeks younger...they had a lot of fun at their playdate earlier in the week.

Justin sleeping

Justin is doing really well. Since we did not have a picture of him at the zoo, I thought I would post this picture from the past week. He is smiling so much. Sitting on the couch with Nathan and Justin, Nathan said hi to him and Justin started to smile (almost a laugh). Nathan got such a kick out of his smile.

Our trip to the zoo

We had a great day at the zoo today. I got an annual pass from Debbie (Nana) for Christmas, thank you! So since it was a little cold outside we went there for a couple of hours. No pictures of Justin today. He slept the whole time and never left the stroller.

I told Nathan I wanted to take his picture and this was the face it got...too funny!
I can finally pick up Nathan and he is loving it
Nathan and Rich just hanging outside the zebras.

Nathan liked the bat house so much he went in it twice. He was hesitant to take this picture but once we convinced him it was not real it stood there for 15 seconds.

I thought this was too cute to not post and share, we all said awe when we saw this.

Nathan had a great time being up close and personal with the bear. He had gone down with Rich while I stayed up with Justin and I had the unique opportunity to capture this shot.

Christmas Day

Nathan woke up when it was still dark out and walked right past the tree and presents. When he came back out he was sure excited to see all the presents! We had a great day as a family and Nathan enjoyed helping everyone open just about every gift!
Nathan giving his Elf on a Shelf, Wubsie a hug...he had a blast finding his Wubsie every morning. He was sad to give him a hug and kiss goodbye on Christmas Day night!Nathan and Justing before opening gifts. Yes, Nathan willingly took this picture knowing all the presents were here for him to open...will this happen next year? I doubt it! Nathan opening his gift from Santa "A train table"! Now we do not have to spend hours at Books a Million having the bratty kids rip the trains out of his hands.
Nathan helping Nana open her gift, he had a really good time with her Christmas Week!
Rich opening his gift from his mom Nathan showing Justin his golf club from Uncle Charlie, yes it is a real one!
Nathan doing his favorite Christmas Day activities, playing and drinking milk!
